  • Studio: Noah Davis Exhibition

RUFFARCHITECTS had the absolute pleasure of attending the private viewing of the latest Noah Davis exhibition at the Barbican Art Gallery, a space we proudly retrofitted. Davis' work beautifully captures everyday moments, where Black life and modernist aesthetics come together in a deeply poetic way. A really inspiring and thought-provoking exhibition we throoughlly enjoyed last night. Always great to revisit the gallery we upgraded in 2019, enhancing this iconic Grade II listed space ahead of David Chipperfield’s Lee Krasner retrospective. Proud to have played a part in ensuring the gallery continues to host world-class exhibitions. Back to News

One of the many ways we have been doing this is through the use of recycled steelwork on Greenway Lane in Bath. We are eager to see the result our sustainable materiality as the project progresses on site. We look forward to sharing more about our ethos as a team over the coming weeks, as we continue to tackle 2025 with intention, drive, and innovation! Learn more about RUFF ARCHITECTS here. • Studio: Sustainable Investment

Last month, we enjoyed taking part in the Breakfast Briefings series with Cundall. It got us thinking about the challenge of balancing sustainable investment with leading new builds vs. refurbishment projects. There were many useful takeaways that the RUFF team will be interrogating as we continue to champion sustainability in our designs. Back to News

  • Studio: Lean Construction

Much to learn from CField's latest lean construction adoption on a 700 timber home scheme. Daily trade work planning allows site teams to coordinate their processes to improve efficiency and minimise construction waste. RUFFARCHITECTS believes all members of the design team should be adopting quality assurance measures for best practice and as a result, the best buildings! Back to News

  • Studio: Publica Night Walks

An insightful workshop hosted by Publica this week! Our team had the pleasure of taking part in the first of their ‘Right to the City Night Walks’, guided by artist Louisa Tan. It was an incredible evening of conversation and collage making, all centered around how to make the night safer for women and non-binary members of the public. We are super excited to be attending more workshops later this month and cannot wait to see how Publica and the City of London move this important research forward Back to News
