Delighted to share that our retrofit and extension of a rural Devon farmstead has received planning approval.
This project is rooted in a fabric-first approach - retaining and celebrating as much of the existing structure as possible, while sensitively adapting the form to enhance spatial quality with vaulted ceilings and new timber and Devonian stone clad elements that sit gently within the landscape.
Passive design strategies have informed every move: orientation and natural terraces work in harmony to optimise solar gain, while deep reveals and carefully placed shading balance light and thermal comfort.
