The project team took a trip up to Glasgow to review our GRC samples alongside the retained façade of the former M&S building on Sauchiehall Street.
Seeing the samples in situ is an important part of the design process, allowing us to assess colour, texture and finish against the existing historic fabric, ensuring the new interventions sit comfortably within Glasgow's Central Conservation Area.
This mixed-use redevelopment will breathe new life into a long-vacant city centre landmark, delivering purpose-built student accommodation alongside retail, restaurant and community spaces. The scheme also reinstates the historic arcade linking Sauchiehall Street and Renfrew Street, helping to reconnect key pedestrian routes and contribute to the ongoing regeneration of this important part of the city.
It's always valuable to get the team on site and see the project progressing in its real context.
