Studio: Cundall Breakfast Briefings

A huge thank you to Cundall for hosting another great talk as part of their Breakfast Briefings series! Our team enjoyed going over to St Paul's Cathedral last week to keep up our learning in the net zero carbon space. There were a whole range of takeaways that stuck with us, such as the advantages of cataloguing existing building fabrics for re-use.

Jade, senior architect at RUFF, was particularly attracted to the concept of a materials index: "I love the idea of a materials broker. Someone who connects unwanted materials from projects to other projects that are looking to procure them...perfection can sometimes be the enemy of the project and that improvement should be the overall target." It's so important that designers stay active in these conversations and RUFFARCHITECTS are proud to be taking the steps to do so.
