At the heart of our design philosophy for this project lies a profound appreciation for natural materials and colours. Our design palette is carefully curated to reflect this ethos, featuring a range of natural textures and hues that bring the beauty of the outdoors inside.
The use of natural materials, such as larch sourced from woodland 10 miles away and limestone from the 13th Century quarry within the grounds of the property, is central to our approach. These materials not only provide a timeless and elegant look but also offer durability and sustainability. Larch, with its rich grains and warm tones, adds a sense of softness and natural beauty to interior spaces. The limestone, in its various forms, lends strength and a connection to the earth, creating striking features in both interior and exterior applications. To add a touch of vibrancy and modernity, we have introduced accents of complimentary pink, taken from the historical colour palette of estate workers homes. This subtle hint of colour provides the perfect compliment, adding an element of interest without overwhelming the natural tones balanced with an abundance of green planting.
